– Master’s in Science – Psychology (1st Class Honours)
I have worked with a wide range of clients—both individually and in groups—across community AOD/mental health services, public hospitals, and private clinics. I have an interest in supporting clients struggling with depression, and anxiety and building healthy relationships with their critical selves. Additionally, I have an interest in supporting clients with finding meaning in these uncertain times. I am particularly passionate about therapeutic approaches emphasising the usefulness of mindfulness, compassion, openness to our experiences and values-based living.
I will offer you a warm, empathic, and non-judgmental space for you to explore current difficulties and invite you to consider what you would like to be different. You will set the direction for our work and I will walk alongside you, as we experiment with what kind of strategies and actions best support you to build the life you want. My aim is to provide therapy tailored for the unique needs of every client and I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship and self-compassion are the key towards a successful outcome.
I understand that one needs significant courage to take the first step towards therapy, and therefore I aim to provide a safe environment where you will feel comfortable to openly discuss any issues in a non-judgmental, warm, empathic, and supportive environment.
I look forward to meeting you and walking alongside you on your individual journey to a more content, happier and new self.
